Privacy Policy

The short version

Your photos and your books stay on your iPhone. We don't have a copy of them, we can't see them, and they are never uploaded to us.

What the app stores

MyPrintBook keeps your books in the app's own storage on your device. A book records which photos you chose (by their identifier in your photo library), how they're cropped, your page layouts and any text you've written. The photographs themselves are read from your library when a page is drawn or printed.

Your books are included in your normal iPhone or iCloud device backup, because the whole device is backed up. They do not sync between devices and they are not stored on our servers.

Photo library access

The app asks for access to your photo library so you can choose pictures for your books, and for permission to save images back to it when you export finished sheets. You can grant access to your whole library or only to selected photos; both work.

Printing

When you print, the app sends the finished page images directly to the printer on your local network. Nothing passes through us.

Buying supplies

If you order paper, covers or a kit, checkout is handled by our shop. To fulfil an order we collect your name, delivery address, email and payment details. Payment is processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number. We use this information to send you what you ordered and to answer questions about it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't run advertising trackers in the app. We don't upload your photos.

Children

MyPrintBook is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can revoke photo access at any time in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes the books stored on your device. To ask what order information we hold, or to have it deleted, email hello@myprintbook.com.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
